Live performance & Exhibited at EAW 2023

The main subject of this performance is personal trauma, an incident in the past related to sexual harassment. Furthermore, the incident is a serious breach of social morality. Since it is a delicate issue, the artist believes the story is best expressed by body language. The name of the performance can be translated as Sometimes bigger, sometimes smaller, and sometimes just so, which is about the fear of the mentioned trauma. It might inflate or shrink, but never disappear. Due to the trauma, the artist was obsessed with the door in her room. She was haunted and tormented by the door itself, with the sound and silhouette of people on the other side. She couldn’t tolerate it anymore, yet she was completely helpless. Eventually, she learned to accept the trauma, keep it, reflect on it, and find a way to let it go.
